Course description

Content

During this course the student shall investigate an academic interesting problem in the chosen subject of educational scope and document this investigation in a report. The report shall fulfil the same demands formally as is case with a scientific report.

The purpose of a thesis course is to integrate and apply knowledge from earlier relevant courses in the program and to tackle unstructured problems. In addition to this, a thesis is mainly seen as a practice in applying scientific criteria on a thesis. A thesis at the advanced levels is also seen as practice in
scientific methods.
